Every now and then I come across something that really really excites me. I’ve always been excited about sustainable agriculture and the Practical Farmers of Iowa. Their recent announcement of the 2011 free Farminars offer you a great opportunity to learn something new and cash in on current information from experts in their field….. literally! Its not just for newbies, if you are looking to hone your skills or just get started in farming, in fact its not just for farmers or those that want to farm. If you are a deer hunter thinking of owning land cutting yout teeth on farming subjects where many principals of growing are the same its a great chance for you to pick up a few foundational lessons on everything from growing stuff to ruminant nutritional information. These FREE Farminars are available to anybody with an Internet connection, no need to be a member or pay a fee…. its just plain free to anybody! As we head for 2012 if you only do one thing to better yourself for next year this could be just that one thing.
