Our family enjoys the ability to produce some of our own food including vegetables, pork, beef and chicken and the piece of mind and reward that comes with that ability.
DreamDirt™ was born not only of our passions for land ownership and our creative abilities but because we continually visited with folks that had dreams of owning a farm or ranch and living the country lifestyle but had no idea how to go about making their dream come true. Jason is a guy that will do anything to help anybody he can, the first time I meant Jason was at a fundraiser for a young boy in Grand Island Nebraska. Jason auctioned off many items that night, one including a hunt on Jason’s farm “DreamDirt.” Two gentlemen were bidding trying to win the hunt, Jason ended up selling the hunt to one of the gentlemen and then stopped the auction and said if the other gentlemen that was bidding wanted to pay the price that the hunt sold for he would have a spot for him on the farm too. I and many other people there that night were taken back, seeing that he was set out to raise as much money for the little boy as possible that night. I recently called Jason on a late Sunday evening to ask him a few questions and advice regarding some land in Central Nebraska, it being a Sunday evening I wondered if he would want to wait till Monday morning to talk about the questions I had for him. Jason stopped what he was doing and answered all my questions and giving me some really good advice. That made me realize he is a guy that loves to help people no matter when or where. With those moves and many others I have seen Jason make over the last year, he is nothing but a class act and enjoys helping people whether it’s with raising money for an event or doing everything he can to help you find that right piece of land for you! Jason and my path crossed several years ago while I was attending an auction. It was during those few minutes that we discovered we had quite a bit in common, a passion for hunting and enjoying the beauty of the Loess Hills in Western Iowa. As I got to know more about Jason I felt very fortunate to have stumbled across this walking encyclopedia and was amazed at the knowledge he possessed about hunting and his enthusiasm to share this with me. During our discussions I began to understand the relationship a landowner / hunter must have with his property, the care it takes to improve wildlife habitat in order to maximize its wildlife potential as well as identifying the key elements which will make a property one that you will want to own for a lifetime. Last year I contacted Jason about several properties that I intended to sell and asked for his assistance. Despite the short timeline Jason responded quickly and worked tirelessly to market these properties. Jason didn’t just stop at getting the listing and turning the property over to other sales people, he spent hours learning and understanding the property so that he could explain the potential of it to who ever he showed it to. It amazed me at his ability to match the ideal buyer(s) for our property. The Betty J [Brown] Robinson, Estate properties were handle in a very professional manor with Jason working day and night continually to give my Brother, Sister and I all possible sale options in a tireless manor.
