We are the DreamDirt™ Team and you won’t find the typical real estate agent or auctioneer here! Born and raised in Iowa we are as country as you get. DreamDirt™ comes armed with a creative aspect that shows farms and farm life in a way nobody else does. Armed with HD cameras, video cameras and top shelf video editing capability with a flair for the story behind your farm or your dream and its future. DreamDirt™ is simply different than traditional real estate and drives solid results whether you are interested in a listing or a farmland auction. DreamDirt™ is farmland real estate with a story, with a future, with a purpose not just another farm for sale.
We have worked with buyers of every type from large tract agricultural investors, the hunter buying his first 20 acres, and the organic land buyer. Bringing success is serious business, success for buyers, sellers and investors of land is our business, but being successful after the transaction is not forgotten. DreamDirt™ is peoples passion for the land and what it grows from the farmers that produce the worlds food, to the cattle(wo)man to the parents that wants to take their children hunting or manage land for its full hunting potential. We have always enjoyed the family bonding that land provides whether its in a treestand, on a tractor, from horseback or looking out the window at God’s wonder. We love to grow things and take great interest in food issues in the entire United States. We continually experiment with different crops and growing situations as well as raising healthy livestock. Our family enjoys the ability to produce some of our own food including vegetables, pork, beef and chicken and the piece of mind and reward that comes with that ability.
DreamDirt™ was born not only of our passions for land ownership and our creative abilities but because we continually visited with folks that had dreams of owning a farm or ranch and living the country lifestyle but had no idea how to go about making their dream come true. The DreamDirt™ concept has gotten rave review from both our lifestyle clients and farmer clients. Lets face it, the country is filled with dreams and all of that begins with land.
We sell all types of agricultural land, hunting land and ranch land. Two types of farms are typical in our inventory and sell strong, the combo farm made up of timber and tillable ag land and farms that are all tillable. If you are in the market to buy or sell we hope you’ll holler at us and give us a chance to evaluate your Iowa farmland or purchase needs. Contact us for referrals to agents in other states that we’ve connected with and know offer great services at 712-592-8965 or email Jason@dreamdirt.com

Jason is a guy that will do anything to help anybody he can, the first time I meant Jason was at a fundraiser for a young boy in Grand Island Nebraska. Jason auctioned off many items that night, one including a hunt on Jason’s farm “DreamDirt.” Two gentlemen were bidding trying to win the hunt, Jason ended up selling the hunt to one of the gentlemen and then stopped the auction and said if the other gentlemen that was bidding wanted to pay the price that the hunt sold for he would have a spot for him on the farm too. I and many other people there that night were taken back, seeing that he was set out to raise as much money for the little boy as possible that night. I recently called Jason on a late Sunday evening to ask him a few questions and advice regarding some land in Central Nebraska, it being a Sunday evening I wondered if he would want to wait till Monday morning to talk about the questions I had for him. Jason stopped what he was doing and answered all my questions and giving me some really good advice. That made me realize he is a guy that loves to help people no matter when or where. With those moves and many others I have seen Jason make over the last year, he is nothing but a class act and enjoys helping people whether it’s with raising money for an event or doing everything he can to help you find that right piece of land for you! Cole Opbroek
Jason and my path crossed several years ago while I was attending an auction. It was during those few minutes that we discovered we had quite a bit in common, a passion for hunting and enjoying the beauty of the Loess Hills in Western Iowa. As I got to know more about Jason I felt very fortunate to have stumbled across this walking encyclopedia and was amazed at the knowledge he possessed about hunting and his enthusiasm to share this with me. During our discussions I began to understand the relationship a landowner / hunter must have with his property, the care it takes to improve wildlife habitat in order to maximize its wildlife potential as well as identifying the key elements which will make a property one that you will want to own for a lifetime. Last year I contacted Jason about several properties that I intended to sell and asked for his assistance. Despite the short timeline Jason responded quickly and worked tirelessly to market these properties. Jason didn’t just stop at getting the listing and turning the property over to other sales people, he spent hours learning and understanding the property so that he could explain the potential of it to who ever he showed it to. It amazed me at his ability to match the ideal buyer(s) for our property. He not only spent time to understand our property so he could point out the highlights and potential but he also spent additional time with each potential buyer to understand what the buyer was searching for to ensure that their purchase would be that “once in a lifetime opportunity.” Mike Sorensen
I wanted to let you all know that just before the auction I spoke with a personal friend who is very involved in the hunting industry and very knowledgeable about land sales. He lives near the farm property I was selling and he told me quote: “Your farm has been marketed better than any other land auction I have ever seen. I personally have seen your farm come across my face at least 4 or 5 times recently!” Naturally this made me feel very good about my choice of auctioneers. Thank you again for all the hard work! Tom Ware
I want to take this opportunity to thank Jason Smith, auctioneer for his tireless efforts handing the sale and auction of our two Estate Farm properties in Iowa. The Betty J [Brown] Robinson, Estate properties were handle in a very professional manor with Jason working day and night continually to give my Brother, Sister and I all possible sale options in a tireless manor. Jason was always available to answer any questions and to work on the best sale and auction possibilities for many months with the final results on both properties resulting in better then expect returns. Jason identified with all issues on these sales and since I live in Pittsburgh many challenging situations had to be over come to make the final results come to fruition. F Kyle Robinson
